Hard rotation

Hard rotation in volleyball means that after each rally won on the opponent's serve, all six players move clockwise. This requires versatility from athletes, as everyone must be able to play both attack and defense.

Jump serve

Jump serve is one of the most dangerous elements in modern volleyball. It allows you to propel the ball at speeds of up to 130 km/h and significantly complicates the opponent's reception.

Effective block

An effective block is built not so much on jumping high, but on timely jumping and correct hand positioning. The main task of the block is not to "hammer" the ball down, but to reduce the attacker's angle of attack.

Libero

The libero is easily recognized by his contrasting uniform, different from the rest of the team. This player is not allowed to attack or serve, but is the main specialist in defense and reception.

Setter

The setter is the brain of the team on the court. He decides which attacker to pass to, analyzing the opponent's block and defense positioning.

Serve reception

Serve reception is considered one of the most difficult skills, requiring composure and perfect technique. The quality of this element determines whether the team can execute a fast attack.

Opposite hitter

The opposite hitter usually attacks from the back row and receives the highest and most difficult sets. In professional teams, this player often scores the most points per match.

Tip (dink)

A tip (dink) is not a powerful spike, but a light touch of the ball into an unprotected area of the court. A good attacker uses a tip when the opponent has already jumped for the block.
